Around and Around

Around and Around

We were on our way,
full of excitement and plans for the day.
Hanging out with you was groovy,
even though we never made it to the movie.
We went to see my honey,
he was busy making money.
He said we looked real nice,
the weather was cold as ice.
It was getting kind of late,
so we went and ate.
The night wasn't over yet,
there was a man you hadn't met.
We were here, we were there, we were everywhere.
Around and Around, Uptown, downtown.
We finally made it, boy were we elated.
We laughed, we talked, we took a little walk.
We hugged our friends bye, our spirits were high.
